The redesigned social profiles, session posts, uploaded social photos and live camera-counted competitions described here are available from GymWars 2.0.0. Earlier versions may not include these features.
Train safely, respect other people and share only content you have permission to use. You keep ownership of your uploads. Competitions are recreational and their rewards are cosmetic. These terms explain how GymWars works and the rules for using it.
1. Agreement and accounts
These terms apply to the GymWars app and related services operated by UltasDev, a trade name of YUSUF EMİR ULUTAŞ. By using GymWars, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
You are responsible for your account credentials and the activity you authorize through your account. Provide accurate account information, do not impersonate another person, and meet the age and consent requirements that apply where you live. Contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Your content and sharing choices
You keep ownership of the photos, captions, comments and other original content you submit. You give UltasDev a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, transmit, display and review that content only as needed to operate GymWars, apply your sharing choices, provide support and enforce these terms. This license does not transfer ownership or give us a right to sell your photos.
You must have the rights and permission needed to upload content, including permission from people whose personal information or images you share. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, violates privacy or breaks the law.
Publishing a workout is optional after completion. One post represents one shared session; a photo and caption are optional. Choose an appropriate audience. You can change visibility or delete a post. Removing a post does not remove the source workout from your training history.
The license ends when content is deleted, except for the limited retention and cleanup described in the Privacy Policy or where needed for a legal obligation. Copies independently saved by other people are outside our control. Optional links on profiles lead to third-party services that have their own terms.
3. Community conduct and moderation
Respect other people, their boundaries and their privacy. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual exploitation, explicit sexual content, scams, spam, impersonation, illegal material, cheating and encouragement of dangerous behavior are prohibited. Do not use competitions or comments to pressure or humiliate another person.
We use text filtering and review submitted social photos before displaying them to others. We can remove content, limit features or suspend or close accounts for violations. Filters can make mistakes; you can request review through GymWars Support. Our Community Guidelines explain prohibited content, reporting, blocking and appeals.
4. Competition rules
Live competitions compare repetitions during the same 60-second match. You can publish an invitation or invite a person directly; an invitation does not oblige them to accept. Camera-based repetition estimates are sent as scores. GymWars does not stream your video to the other participant.
Use the requested exercise and follow the in-app setup instructions. Do not manipulate the camera, software, timing, account or score submissions to gain an unfair result. Camera position, visibility and connection quality can affect counting and match completion. Results can be cancelled or corrected when a technical problem or violation is confirmed.
Competition records and crowns are cosmetic. A win can display a crown for seven days. Competitions do not alter training LP or strength ranks and do not award money, cash-equivalent prizes or ownership rights. Do not arrange betting or financial stakes through GymWars.
5. Exercise safely
GymWars supports fitness tracking and recreation. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and camera rep counting does not certify exercise technique or safety. Seek appropriate professional advice before changing your exercise routine if you have a health concern.
Choose activities within your ability, place your phone safely and keep enough clear space. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or other concerning symptoms. You can leave a competition. Do not continue unsafe exercise to preserve a streak or win a match.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Premium features may require a subscription. The store purchase screen shows the price, billing period and any trial. Payment and renewal are handled by Apple or Google under the store's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through the store within its required timeframe; for App Store subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting GymWars or your GymWars account does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through the relevant store and any rights provided by applicable law.
7. GymWars intellectual property
GymWars software, branding, character artwork and other materials supplied by UltasDev belong to UltasDev or its licensors. Your own uploaded content remains yours, as described in section 2. You may use app-provided character art and stickers within the features made available to you. Other copying, redistribution or commercial exploitation requires permission, except where applicable law permits it.
8. Service availability and responsibility
We work to keep GymWars available and its records accurate, but outages, device differences and errors can occur. Keep a copy of information you cannot afford to lose. We may maintain, update or change features and may restrict access when necessary to protect the service or other users.
To the extent permitted by law, UltasDev is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes, account closure and contact
You can stop using GymWars and delete your account in Settings. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated violations, or when legally required. Contact us to request review of a decision.
We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the date on this page. Where legally required, we will provide notice or seek renewed agreement before a material change takes effect.
